Does Taxes Equal Greed or Slavery?

Lower taxes, smaller government and LOWER TAXES. A common misconception of conservatives are their focus on lowering taxes. Most liberals can’t understand the fascination and quickly attribute it to greed and quite possibly it is but we all know that a couple percent of your income will not make or break anyone's bank. So why do they keep crying over the difference of 2%?

These are middle class, blue collar workers bullshit over a couple percent. Why? It is an easy concept but it needs you to take a hard step back and see the forest through the trees. We are all being enslaved and taxes are the shackles. Try to give a hard look at how many taxes you pay and where it is going. I have heard in the past the ignorance of “I don't care if I pay taxes as long as it's going somewhere good” but ANYONE that says this could not tell me where each of their taxes goes to. Commercial taxes going to our military, property taxes going to police, fire and teachers, federal income taxes going SOLEY to our federal debt, which gets dictates to us by a non audit-able private entity that tells US how much money they will print, for how much and how much it is worth.

So if someone fear mongers you into not lowering state or fed income taxes because it will affect teachers or Fire or police it is ignorance of those that don't understand what taxes go where. What it will affect is spending on state and federal levels. They don't want to limit spending though. They would rather open new offices to dictate how we should live. That is how taxes and and small government go hand in hand. The bigger the government the more avenues they can take to dictate where you can smoke, what you can watch, how you travel, what you can eat, what you can sell, what you blog, what you say, how “dangerous” you may or not be by voicing these same opinions I am stating here. If you think they aren't doing any of these things then you have your eyes wide shut. Well all this dictating and controlling takes funding, that funding is your taxes. So the more taxes you allow, the more avenues get funded to further your enslavement to the system.

When you think twice about lowering income taxes keep in mind all the other taxes they already take from you.

Sales, property, excise, business, tolls, gas, registration, any license is a charge to drive or work that charge goes to the state or fed therefore a tax, permits (work on a house, building permit, electrical permit, protest, health,) permits are letters of permission from the government for a fee therefore a tax, moving violations are fines for not following the government rules therefore punishment taxes, metered parking, liquor tax, carbon tax, etc.

All these taxes go specifically somewhere and be sure that lowering a few will not affect the necessary departments of safety and education.

I'm back!

I had high hopes on this blog site to get out my ideas, even if no one came to read it. At least my thoughts and insites would be out there. As you can see, I haven't written since February of last year. A lot has happened in the past 3/4ths of the year. Being part of the Tea Party has become almost a common term used for describing a conservative. The party has since gained popularity of up to 40% of Americans agreeing with their “ideals”. Unfortunately this is a double edged sword. It does describe the conservative ideals like smaller government, lower taxes, personal freedoms and liberties but not all republicans follow that same foundation. Even further they may preach that they do but their actions show very differently. With all that being said it seems, after the current mid term elections where the republicans gained the House of Reps, that many Republicans are attributing a good part of their wins to the Tea Party. We’ll see.

What is a Tea Party Patriot

What is a Tea Party Patriot?
Patrick James Cambio
February2010

Apparently there is and will be a lot of confusion on what a Tea Party Patriot is and what The Tea Party stands for. I'll start by telling you a few things the Tea Party does NOT represent. First and foremost they never have and never will condone or incite any form of violence or terrorism. This may sound like something that doesn't need to be said but something a lot of TP members and supporters have feared is starting to come to fruition. We just had a guy fly into a building with a prop plane that has voiced his opposition to GW Bush and our government in general. The media has already slanted this person into being part of the Tea Party which he is not. This is a confusion tactic to tie terrorists, activists, and constitutionalists altogether. It is assumed that if a terrorist opposes government and the Tea Party opposes the present form of government this means that all Tea Party Patriots are terrorists. This logic IS being pushed and is very dangerous for so many unamerican reasons.

Another thing true Tea Party Patriots don't support is republican candidates in general. This is something that is dividing the Patriots as we speak but I stand firm that if we were here to support republicans we would be calling ourselves republicans. Again the confusing media grouping of tying the things that look on the surface as the same but are very different. A republican is supposed to be a conservative and the Tea Party Patriots consider themselves as conservatives therefore all Tea Party Patriots support republicans. Well if republicans were truly conservative then this might be the case, but like I said, if they stood by their true ideals there wouldn't be a Tea Party movement. So if you think a federal healthcare, military excessive spender, warmonger like Scott Brown and Mitt Romney are wins for Tea Parties then you've been led astray from the true ideals of their group.

A big misconception of the Tea Party, and this will be our undoing I think, is that all Tea Party members are gun toting revolutionists that are itchy for a bloody revolution. This is very much not the case. Most TP Patriots won't even talk of revolution because it is unwinnable and nonconstructive to the cause.

What The Tea Party does stand for is very simple. The Constitution. Millions of Americans have fought to keep this article alive but now there is talk of it needing to be updated. The TP Patriots believe that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is not an old fashioned notion and does not need to be updated. TP Patriots see that our bill of rights might as well be trashed if we keep going in this fascist run socialist direction. We agreed, as a nation, that our rights were God given inalienable rights. This means we are born with these freedoms of speech, religion, and property. If God has given us these things then why do we have to ask the government to voice our opinions about them? Why do we need to ask the government if we can work on our own property? Why can't we celebrate our religious holidays on a public garden? TP Patriots know that our basic rights are all gone and we need to do something to get them back.

This automatically brings up the talk of revolution but, like I said, it is an unwinnable battle. What is winnable is peaceful education of American citizens to what, why, and how we need to get back to the Constitutional Republic that our forefathers set up for us. Technology has changed in 200 years but most people that know our constitution will easily tell you that being more technologically advanced doesn't wipe away the basic building blocks to a free society. Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness can be achieved with an understanding of what our freedoms consist of.

If you believe you are losing your freedoms more and more by every administration. If you feel helpless to our government that we are supposed to be running not being run by. If you are angry by spending all our money to support the corporations that put us in this depressed economic situation. If you are angry that our brothers, sisters, sons and daughters are oversees putting their lives' on the line and paying the ultimate price for something that isn't directly protecting the country. If you truly believe that liberty and freedom is something to be cherished and fought for. If you love your country the way so many have fought defended and died for it to be. If you consider yourself a proud American Patriot then you truly are a Tea Party Patriot.
